Idea list report: Make column-based sorting stable
When trying to prioritize ideas, we use both Idea Votes and a custom Idea Product Value Score. If I sort the ideas first by product score and then by number of votes, the product scores get scrambled. It would be nice if they stayed in their previous order, within each value for number of votes.
Hi Lawrence, the sort at the top of the column headings does not allow for multi-level sort. So when you sort by one column it is sorted only by that column. The sort option I referenced above should give you exactly what you need though. Thanks!

No, this is not the sort I'm talking about. By each column name there are three dots and a sort operation inside. This sort is not stable.

Hi there, thank you for the idea. Just to clarify, are you using the Sort columns option here:
This will allow you to set Product value score as the primary sort, with vote count as a secondary. When I try this, it is working as you would expect. Please let me know if I am misunderstanding your challenge here. Thanks!
