As a product manager working with multiple workspaces, I would like the ability to change the workspace once a Feature has been created and have the new workspace name/ID update the displayed record-reference-pill copy/identifier automatically or from a list of workspaces available or to create a new workspace if needed. This will help to reduce confusion and the steps required to update a feature if not properly organized under the correct workspace saving time and resources.
I couldn't agree more. I see the value in the original ID (which is always available in the history) however we move initiatives, ideas and features to new workspaces quite a lot.
Use case 1: Customer adds idea under the wrong product. That idea is moved by us, and now has the wrong / confusing ref ID forever.
Use case 2: When Aha URL links are copied to other docs eg confluence the Ref ID is the only clue as to what product the Aha item relates to. If the workspace has changed, the ID now gives incorrect information. ** We could add the workspace name to every item, but that sounds a bit unnecessary.
Ideally we'd like the option to change the ID or not (as suggested below) or indeed Aha create a unique ID and a ref ID (where the ref ID can be at any time).

I've moved what workspace Features are assigned to by updating the Release it's associated to. In some cases, it might be helpful to keep the ID the same. So maybe as part of moving it, having an option to update the ID or keep it the same. We have some overlap on projects and teams that work on projects, and I could see potentially wanting to keep the IDs a little more distinguishable. But if you make a mistake and just need to move the feature to the correct workspace, updating the ID would be really helpful.
