Idea Chart automated metric

To eliminate any manual work, I wanted to use automated metrics for my Idea scorecard and chart. I defined the metrics such that there was a limited range of values within a small scale to easily plot on the chart. However I receive an error as the Idea chart currently doesn't support automated metrics at all. I understand the chart can't plot unlimited values however you can set value range parameters and allow users to leverage the automated metrics for the Idea Chart within specified limits.
