Integration between Aha! and Jira Align (formerly Agilecraft)

Jira Align is a requirements tracking platform that was formerly Agilecraft, and is fully integrated with Jira.

Our teams that are using both Jira and Jira Align are mapping their Epics in Jira to parent Epics in Jira Align, so that the roll-up provides traceability, categorization, and an aggregated status in Jira Align at the program level.

To do the same with the existing Aha-to-Jira integration, the teams would have to do the mapping all over again, effectively doubling the mapping effort that they are already doing in Jira Align. Also, we have multiple release trains and multiple backlogs in Jira that make the integration with Aha complex enough that it is difficult to maintain and frequently breaks due to changes in Jira.

Rather than integrate Aha directly to Jira, we would like to leverage the existing mappings and integrate Features in Aha with Epics in Jira Align. This would give us fewer mappings, fewer release trains, and fewer backlogs to maintain and the teams would only have to do the mappings once.

Specifically we would like to be able to publish a Feature in Aha to an Epic in Jira Align and then get status back from the Epic in Jira Align to the Feature in Aha.

We have the similar requirement and want to push AHA ideas into JIRA Align as epics
