Add related records to the primary record on the dependency report

Currently, it's not possible to include related records to the primary record on a dependency report. For example, you cannot add "Release" as a related record type to features (the primary record on your report) and include the "Release date" field.

While you can flip the relationship to achieve the same result, it is not always practical in the case where you want to track dependencies across multiple boards (component boards) for a bunch of primary records defined in a single board (solutions board)
