What is the challenge? |
Currently to add a new dependency between records on a whiteboard, I need to open the record, go to the related tab, and create the dependency. This is several clicks and not always easy to find the correct record to link to. I want to create a true dependency relationship between records just by connecting them on a whiteboard with a dependency line. |
What is the impact? |
Much faster for teams to track dependencies between work in live sessions like PI planning. |
Describe your idea |
Add a new type of line that only can connect to Aha! records. Will actually create a dependency relationship between records it connects. |
You can now add a dependency between records directly from a whiteboard! To try this out, draw a connector arrow between two records, select Create dependency in the toolbar, and choose the type of dependency to create. Your arrow will update to show that it is a dependency, and you can view or delete this dependency from the Related tab of each record.

Yes! This would help RTE's greatly when creating a Program Board.
