I want to be able to hide the Idea created date, so the customer not seen some ideal been sitting there for so long.

Without this, you need to make your portal public (not ok in a lot of cases) or get the person to come in and subscribe to the ideas in a private portal. This also makes the widget in Ideas Advanced less valuable
