For cross functional teams, it is important for other contributors to be able to see our product feature boards in the format intended. Otherwise, we have to communicate the specific releases that are needed to specify in the filter and provide updates when releases are added or changed.
Multiple people share our workspace resulting in about 100 projects spread across many initiatives. It is cumbersome to set filters for my projects and initiatives every time I look at the board.
A +1 for this feature in Aha. My use case: for internal organization purposes I have a workspace that includes multiple closely related products, each of which has multiple releases. Right now my only option for switching from one product view to the next is to clear the check boxed Releases then select the releases for the product I want to look at. I'd really like to be able to save the view for each product into a separate URL that could be bookmarked. Thanks.
I couldn't agree more with this one ... this is a disappointing gap. It took me a while to realize I wasn't doing something wrong, as I was thinking "these guys wouldn't have made it so I can save views in list reports but not on the features board ... can't be! I must be missing something ..." :)
Great feature idea! I do think implementation of this would need an easy way to toggle all of our filters etc. on and off. This would allow teams that have multiple members adding to an overall board capable of focusing on their own features, as well as quickly opening it up to reference others' features.
This would be very beneficial for my organization. We need to filter on assignee for certain boards. Right now I have to ask each possible assignee to create the filter themselves. In an organization that is growing - not only do I have to ensure existing users create the filter but will continuously have to work with new users to do this.
It is disappointing that Aha does not make it easy to save a set of filters which will be loaded by default whenever somebody goes into the Board view of a Workspace.
When there is a group of 10 people, it means all of them individually will have to set up the filters. This is a scaling issue for larger organizations and forces all users to have to learn how to configure filters.
Please add this feature. It seems like we can do this almost everywhere else and this has become one of the most important views for our company... Except that we have to train everyone how to filter is in the way we want it filtered. Super frustrating.
Adding to the comment chain here. This would be very appreciated by my team. It takes a few clicks to recreate the filter each time. I can create reports and dashboards for them with saved filters, but they don't have the dynamic interaction capabilities of the feature board.
It is odd that there's a merged request from 5 years ago to save filters on the Features Board - pretty much the same thing. We're probably all Product Managers around here, and we understand that sometimes the shiny new features are what's needed to keep up, but every now and then a bit of grit removal would be good too. I'm tempted to look at the release notes for the last years and see how wrong I am (no, I'm not really going to do that), but can you share something about this orphan? Do we need a campaign to help it?
I'm in the same boat as most others, I need my reviewers to have a very low threshold in their way - they'll easily see the tool as immature if basic needs aren't met, and slow down adoption as a result.
In contrast, the other major review subject is the Workflow for Features (which also allows spanning Products, that the Feature Board doesn't), so the disparity is quite stark.
We have a board with all the feature work for multiple teams. There are horizontal teams (like UX) that span that work, and we tag some of these items with tags like "UX", "UX-done", and "Needs-UX". I want to save a view with these filters so that I don't have to remember which tags to include in the filter.
When using the Board view I have to keep resetting my filters losing time depending on the topic I'm working with. Instead of having to "remember" what I got wrong, it'd be great to have this view saved like all other reports.

We have multiple teams working in a single workspace. Those teams have responsibilities for different "parts" of what the workspace covers. We are able to filter what each team wants to see in the feature board, but we have to do that every time w...

Filters should get pushed to the URL so filtered queries can easily be shared

While this tracks the idea of saved filters, just pushing the filters to the URL would be a huge step forward. It then allows someone to share a view where you might be filtering by "Master Feature" and "status".

It would be great to have a set of user-defined filters that can let us easily toggle between views on the board. It's a bit cumbersome to re-create the filter every time I want to use it.

Definitely agree! Would be particularly helpful for larger PM orgs that are getting used to Aha for the first time as well.
For cross functional teams, it is important for other contributors to be able to see our product feature boards in the format intended. Otherwise, we have to communicate the specific releases that are needed to specify in the filter and provide updates when releases are added or changed.
It is imperative that there is a common format that can be used so that anyone viewing the feature will see it the same way.
Yes please! My team would benefit from this greatly! It adds so much friction to the experience to ask everyone to add their own filters
Yes, please this is really extremely annoying and confusing, that I can not share the same view with my peers on this page.
Any chance we could get an update on this idea? The lack of ability to save views in the feature board is a major inconvenience for our users.

It is disappointing that Aha does not support this feature in the Board view of a Workspace. We need this feature ASAP.
This is imperative to our use of Aha! Please add this feature.

Does that help?
Any news on this one? we have a default board configured that has to be setup again and again on user machines
