As a product manager, every day I am creating a new initiative (less often), feature and requirement. In the writing of User Stories, whether it's a feature or a requirement in Aha!, best practice is to mention the person for which the feature will be targeting. When writing the description of the requirement, I should be able to @mention a User Persona and have the list of personas autofill as I'm typing. Upon selection of the desired persona, the friendly name will appear and be hyperlinked to the Persona defined for that product or product line in the Strategy: Market: persona area of Aha!.
This will allow Product Managers and Owners to be able to easily reference important and valuable work done in the personas within the Features and Requirements. If integrated to Github/ Jira, etc... those links would also be available in those external systems.
This enables the development teams quicker access to the Personas for questions, and additional information about the targeted user or buyer related to a specific feature or requirement.
Thank you for the idea. While you cannot currently @mention a persona within a description, you can easily identify related personas using a persona custom field at the feature and/or requirement level.
Based on this available option and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you understand.
Yes would like to see the ability to link Personals, Vision, all Strategy components to other records in Aha.
Also need to sync the custom field to a field in the ticketing system that is in use for the integration. So not entirely serving the main purpose of this Idea.
That works because I have those features turned on for my account.
