As a product manager, I want to be able to import my ideas and have them accurately represent their history, so I'd like to be able to include the created date in the import.
I am currently not able to import an idea with a created date, so all imported ideas via CSV appear to have the current date for their creation.
We are creating a new instance to move all of our current ideas and features as we splitting with another organization within our company. Without the ability to include created date almost 4 years worth of data will be lost as everything will appear as if everything was created on the date of the import.
The other consideration is that many of the useful features of Aha are not available if you do not have the original submission date: Trending in the Portal for example, and also the Trending views within Aha itself.
It can't be all that hard to expose the submission date field for import??
Agreed! My only option was to upload and put dates in the comments field.
We recently moved from using SurveyMonkey to an ideas portal to collect ideas and feedback from our users. As part of the move, I had to import 2000 previous submissions into the portal. Maintaining the submission date on these items would have been incredibly useful.
