I have an MS Project export of a service provider. It includes phases and milestones only.
Would be great I could CSV import that to a specific Aha! release.
Sample csv looks like
name | start date | due date |
plan | 2018-10-08 | 2018-11-08 |
implement | 2019-01-08 | |
test | 2019-02-08 |
In a following version would be great to even import features via csv which have been associated to a phase in MS Project.
name | start date | due date | type |
plan | 2018-10-08 | 2018-11-08 | 0 |
mind map | 1 | ||
analyse | 1 | ||
implement | 2019-01-08 | 0 | |
test | 2019-02-08 | 0 |
We use the Release Template with phases for client Activation Project Management. We have built out one Release Template for this purpose but we have multiple modules for our product and need to have multiple templates with different Phases (Activation Activities). It would be great to be able to take a .csv file of Activities and timeline to import them for a new template that can then be shared with our engagement teams and/or clients.
I am exploring moving over from Monday.com and can easily export my Release/Phase milestones into a CSV, but can't import them. So exploring the template route to minimize the amount of work to start up in Aha! Roadmaps.
As our use of Aha! has grown, so has our need for import of work that ineficient/new Aha! users have done offline in the apps that feel more native to them. This has also come up as we use Aha! for both internal product development, as well as project management of various VoC projects being executed with partners that we have onboarded in our environment.
+The Gantt functions for phase/milestone entry have been improved for sure, but they have nowhere near the keystroke/mouse efficiency of banging Title, Type, start, end into an excel sheet.
If there are technical challenges to implementing an import of phases and milestones- it would be an improvement if you could give us a modal like the epic/story/requirement records that had "enter to add another" functionality.
Request to provide this feature at the earliest
Now after the update of start-date in other areas, the CSV based import of a start-date would really be beneficial. See
It would be great to be able to import release phases and milestones. As a workaround we've been using features in place of them but it's not been a good substitute since there are no milestones.
My use case I would like to apply an existing Phase Template and apply to a release on import, or be apply to apply a release phase template to an existing release
