It will show sprints as a roadmap and will be able to give agile team more clarity.
This will benefit Agile / Scrum Teams.
A sprints view roadmap added to both Features and Release sections or once can select between timeline/calendar view or sprint view.
Thank you for the idea! Currently, it is possible to create a sprint view roadmap when using Aha! Roadmaps alongside Aha! Develop. See attached for an example roadmap that shows features assigned to a team by sprint. Use the feature team name filter to display just the work assigned to that team. This provides a more granular view of the development team's roadmap.
If you are interested in trying this functionality in your existing Aha! Roadmaps account, please contact us. You can also learn more about Aha! Develop here.
Any update on this, my Product team is also asking for this capability on the roadmaps to display Sprints in the timeline
Still very much needed.
The agile development world is going away from "releases" (as one should be able to do this with a "click of a button") but rather understand when content is being planned (i.e in sprints)
Thanks for the update, but the current AHA is expensive enough as it is and it should have these features enabled without having to buy more modules like ideas and develop!!
Our CEO is looking to go elsewhere now
Our POs have rejected Aha for planning due to lack of ability to plan by sprints in the roadmap view.
They have managed to pull some reports together that use sprints from JIRA as a columns, but that doesn't provide the planning flexibility needed to be an effective tool. Right now our POs are using drawing-oriented apps to plan sprints because there is literally no other way to do sprint planning with dependency management properly in this tool (or any other really).
Would be a great win for Aha!
Having a view of the roadmap based on the next 3-5 sprints would be really valuable to help communicate plans to both team and the wider business.
The Idea that was merged looks like two different items. The idea I submitted was to allow the ability to change the internal date of a sub-release if we so choose to.
We have several small releases that are tested by different teams, and these build up to the master release, therefore setting internal different release dates for sub-releases is ideal.
Now I have to draw this map in some other tools. This will be great.
Same here.
We have stopped doing roadmap management in this tool because we cannot link to sprints
