We add our meeting minutes in Notes and it would be good to create to-dos straight from notes (similar concept to @ and #)
While there is a workaround per @Ron above, the tasks below the note will often not have the context of the surrounding text within the note. So while it's fine for short notes, this can be useful for longer notes that happen to have a ton of action items.
Thanks for the idea. As you know, we have the ability to add To-do's lower down on the Notes page. While we can see some value from a usability perspective, this is not an area of high priority at the moment. We'll keep the idea open but will mark as unlikely to implement for now. I hope you can understand.
