If I use the "Initiative Filter" on the Features > List screen, the initiatives are broken out by Product/Family. But when I use the "initiative Filter" on the Roadmap > Pivot Table view, it shows "all initiatives" in alphabetical order, regardless of which product they come from. It would be much better if it would show the initiatives in groups the same way it does on the Feature list screen. It would not be uncommon to have multiple initiatives with the same name (i.e. "GUI Enhancements") in separate product areas because different people own the different products and some of the work is similar. The result would be a list of undifferentiated initiatives, which is less helpful than clearly reinforcing any category or hierarchy (whenever possible).
Thanks
The status of this idea was out of date. Since this idea was submitted, we have updated the filters to be consistent throughout Aha! Now the initiative name filter will be grouped by product in pivot tables.
This would help our users, too. Many find the current initiatives UI very limiting and leading to poor adoption
