I really appreciate the ability to bulk update proxy organizations, but it is unfortunate that I have to then add the business team that is working with the account manually. I would like faster ways to get 5+ users associated with an account attached as contacts (whether that be through the same bulk import or a user select) so that I don't have to manually add all of the details for hundreds of users.
Yes, that's correct - Austin. We do want to collect both. Effectively, we want the Organization in Aha! to be representative of the whole team (internally and externally) that is helping this client. That ensures that everyone knows the same information and the contacts they reach out to can all answer any questions that may come up.
Thank you! That additional context is very helpful. We also created a related idea to allow custom fields to be added to organizations. This could be a way to capture specific information like the account team -- leaving contacts available to use for customer contacts.
Thanks for reaching out Austin!
In our case, we want to do both. We have an internal team that is assigned to work with the customer and want to make sure they are kept in the loop (in case something about the business relationship changes or would impact why development may want to look at this) while ALSO knowing what customer contacts may be available to dig in deeper to their use case.
Hi there,
Thank you for your idea. We will continue to monitor customer feedback around the need for importing organization contacts.
We would love to understand more about your use case. Generally, we assumed that contacts would be used to capture details about individuals in the organization. In your case, it seems you want to capture your own team members who work with the organization. Am I understanding correctly? Do you also need to capture customer contacts?
Thanks!
