Multiple user types (support, sales, presales, acct managers, etc) have ability to vote on behalf of a customer however today the proxy vote information is retained only under the user that made the request which means no other support users , etc can see that the request has already been made unless they have access to the backend. This is causing too many duplicates.
Good news! Today we added a new portal setting that allows portal users view all proxy votes. To find this setting, open your ideas portal and go to Settings > Overview > Voting > Proxy votes. Set Portal users can view and edit to All proxy votes. This will allow all portal users to view all proxy votes captured by anyone on behalf of any organization. On the Proxy votes page users can easily filter by organization for a complete view of what has been requested for the customer. Learn more.
