In the 'Create Knowledgebase' wizard, it's possible to move to each step by selecting the tabs across the top even if the 'Next' button is disabled. If you don't populate the Document tab, and then from the last ('Color') tab select to create the knowledgebase, a 'Creating...' message appears but the screen freezes there. |

Seemingly related: Starting from a document or folder, there's no way to populated a knowledgebase. Aha! instructions for how to Create a new knowledgebase say "From a document: Click the Share menu on a parent document. Access its Web tab and click Share as knowledge base." However, there's no "Share as a knowledge base" button or hyperlink--the only available action is 'Settings', which leads to the Configure knowledge bases settings page:
/settings/account/knowledge_bases
Same freezzing issue occurs if in the 'Document' tab you select a folder that's already the root folder of an existing knowledgebase.
