Who would benefit? |
While editing a link, the text doesn't disappear |
What impact would it make? |
DO NOT change the font color when editing a link |
How should it work? |
1 Insert a blue box 2 Insert a link, set the color to white, so it is visible. E.g. https://www.example.com 3. Edit the link, and set text to display e.g. "My link" 4. The link should be visible after edit. |
To create the original link
Insert a shape (rectangle)
Add text to the shape by double click on the shape. From a Browser, you copy the link address to where you wan't the link to go to.
Change the font color to white
Change the shape color to blue
In the picture I show you what happens know step by step.
The link is still existing after step 4, but since it's changed the text color to the same as the background, you can't see it.
Thanks for reporting this issue. Today, links in the text editor default to the standard blue color, but that could make them difficult to read on similar-colored backgrounds. How are you creating the blue box you mentioned – is it a table with a blue background, or maybe an information callout box (like below)?
