In the area in setting an Automation Rule you can set dates for things like 1 day or 1 week from today. Our team wants to enter a specific date to be set.

    We have certain workspaces where the PM wants to regularly set a due date on Features using an automation rule on the workspace. That due date would be the same due date for every feature for a specific period of time based on a value coming in from Jira. Since that field is text, he's not able to set it as the due date.

    Hi there, thank you for your idea. Could you share more about your use case? We designed this with the current date options to allow for evergreen automations (since with a specific date the automation would eventually become out of date.) It would be interesting to understand more about how you would use this. For now I will set this idea to Unlikely to implement given the explanation above. Thanks!
