Ability to Customize Status Categories Merged

I can't find any setting that would allow for the customization of the Category labels. In our Project Management model our work overlaps with our Commercialization Process which uses different statuses over the life of the workflow. I have been unable to find a workable system in Aha to automate two Status flows at the same time, but if I was able to assign custom Category labels I think that would address the problem.
