Current process:
Today, we can create reports that are filtered on:
Last {week, month, quarter, year, 7, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days}
This {week, month, quarter, or year}
Next {week, month, or quarter}
Product Gap:
Our options for creating filters based off of "Next ..." are quite limited. Ie: we have the option to filter on Last 7, 30, 90, 180, 365 days, but not Next 7, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days.
Impact:
Our team is responsible for providing weekly status reports to leadership that show:
What we are working on
What has been completed in the past 7 days, and
What we plan to complete next week
Thus, we need the ability to create forward-looking reports that show Features, Epics, Releases, and Initiatives that are due in the next 7, 30, etc days in addition to the last 7 days.
This is preventing stickiness across the org as teams have to create the Next ... reports manually
I like this idea as I just ran into a similar problem for end of year reporting / next year planning.
Additionally, I would love to see a Before/After option so show BOTH recent releases AND near term projects in the same, dynamic view. Right now, that requires two different dynamic reports or a single manually updated report.
