Our platform requirements include use of standard workflows that align the entire organization on where our products are in their development based on standard statuses used, as well as the input of goals and initiatives. It would be great if we could create custom fields off of our workspace settings for use in pivots to quickly answer 'are the requirements being met?'
Hi there -- the current reporting capabilities don't accomplish what I am looking for, so can this idea be untagged from the 'Already Exists' status? I am looking for the ability to see a comprehensive view of all of my workspaces and whether they have goals and initiatives inputted. Today, if you report on goals and initiatives, you will only see the workspaces that have them. If you report on workspace settings, you cannot see goals and initiatives.
Think what I am looking for is the ability to create custom fields off of the workspace settings used. For instance, ("If goals workflow == product goals workflow, "Yes," "No"). We could generate pivots off of this data to easily see whether workspaces were using the right settings. On the initiatives piece, workspaces will not show in an initiatives report if they do not have any initiatives. This has made it challenging for us to track compliance.
Hi there, thank you for your idea. It is currently possible to report on workspace settings. This article explains in more detail. Hopefully this covers the use case for checking workflows and other settings. For reporting on use of initiatives, you could also create pivots counting the number of initiatives create per workspace, features by initiative, etc. I hope this helps!
