In the knowledge base there are multiple articles with screenshots of Aha! that are used as visuals to help the user understand where in Aha! they should be navigating to when using a certain feature.
However, I think many of these snapshots could provide better visual clarity to help a user understand what is being instructed in the knowledge base article.
I've attached an example below of what a screenshot currently looks like in the Knowledge base and how it could potentially look better.
Example explained:
See screenshots attached for reference.
Article: https://www.aha.io/support/roadmaps/strategic-roadmaps/releases-and-schedules/releases-introduction
In this article there is a screenshot of the releases tab showing a Gannt chart view. The instructions in the article explain in text how to create a release but the screenshot does not clearly indicate how this is done and so the reader has to spend time figuring out what they're looking at.
With simply adding some arrows, highlights, and boxes to the screenshot the reader will quickly understand what they need to look for to make sure they are on the right screen and where to click to add a release.
For reference, the tool I used to create the highlights, boxes, and arrows is called TechSmith Capture.
Value: I think many users would appreciate visuals that provide better clarity and instructions. It helps them save time and can also help non-technically savvy users understand how to use Aha! better.
