Support fractional teams when planning capacity by team
When using capacity planning for teams, it would be desirable to be able to indicate a resource is partially allocated to a particular team, e.g. 4.5 vs. rounding down to 4.0. There are many teams that have say ½ a resource allocated.
I would also like to be able to add start date and end date for a person within a team, (as well as at a team level). As we often have people switching teams or new starters within the team. We are currently managing it through updating the persons work schedule, if there is an easier or more transparent way to do this it would be great.
I also have this need for the majority of what I am managing. I am utilizing resources from multiple teams and only have a portion of their capacity, and it varies by individual. I really need the ability to set a max capacity or target capacity for an individual so we can report on their availability accurately in the capacity report.
We have fractional heads for a variety of reasons, e.g., resources shared across budget areas, or people with specialized skills who have responsibility across different budget areas. Being able to specify a fractional team capacity is a must have for accurate planning.
