Allow additional fields on top section of custom layout
We would like to add an additional fields at the top section of the custom layout for epic. This would go with the description. We use a field for a narrative on the benefit of each items that pairs with the description but we want this separate for reporting, however we can't put it in the top section of the layout.
We would also like to be able to use this sort of set up. In fact I had assumed that it would be possible to add more fields to the top section under the description field, so I'm surprised that it's not possible.
We would like to add more fields to break out topics like scope, acceptance criteria etc from the description field so that we can report on them. Right now we use templates that prepopulate that field, but we don't always want to share that information in its entirety.
I know that we can add the fields to the overview tab, or create a custom tab, but we'd like to see it all front and centre.
The custom record view layout could stand to be a whole lot more custom.
We have an ideas form where we ask some quite specific questions to ensure the clarity of the request, but then once they've provided that detail, the only way those can be viewed is way over as part of the overview. They should be able to be displayed above or below the description.
