Default value for Predefined Choice list field

When we create a predefined choice list. Blank is shown as by default. it would be nice if the first value in my choice list is shown as default. it would reduce one user click.

Idea categories should be able to be "featured"

Idea categories, like ideas, sometimes have a higher priority than others. Idea categories are currently sorted alphabetically. We think that certain categories should be able to be "featured" so that they can be hoisted to the top of the list.
