Before pushing a release to Jira, we do reviews of Features/Requirements with engineering. This may happen several times and we end up with multiple versions of the Release details. This makes it hard to compare the difference between the old and new (for engineering to see what I have specifically changed). Ideally, we would be able to pick 2 dates and do a diff between the two. As an example, Word has a function that compares 2 different docs and shows the additions/deletions between the original and new.
I know there is the individual history of Releases/Features/Requirements but that makes it hare to compare what changed between two snapshots.
Thank you for the idea. This is possible today using the history panel on the features roadmap. The status of this idea was out of date. You can learn more here: https://www.aha.io/blog/now-track-changes-to-your-roadmap
As old as this idea is, and for all of Aha!'s strengths, change management and reporting is not one of them. Because it's dynamic, if something is changed without prior notice, and with a high volume roadmap, it's nearly impossible to tell what changes day to day. This would be an incredibly valuable tool for us to assess the churn on our roadmap and the reason for that churn. Understanding those reasons would be critical to helping us improve our operations.
I agree with this feature request. It would be ideal to allow a generated report to be version controlled and allowing us to do a "diff" on changes since the last controlled version (similar to word)
