Allow Tags to be Managed at the Product Level vs. Account Level Merged

Tags are extremely useful but also frustrating the way they are designed to work across the entire Aha! account/system. Our product teams are tired of seeing mis-keyed tags and tags that pre-populate that don't make sense to a specific product or product line. Our administrator now has monthly cleanup task to remove mis-keyed tags and review tags with the entire cross department product team; obviously not a good use of time.

Our idea is to enhance this fundamentally powerful feature. We propose that tags be managed by a Product Owner at the Product/Product Line level. We feel managing the tags at product level will help optimize our utilization within our sub departments. And no we don't want to add custom fields for this. We love the native tags but our use cases differ by Product Line in our organization. Help save a whale by approving this enhancement request!
