A Feature has been created with a number of Requirements and each of the requirements have a number of ToDos which need to be done - in many cases by different people. We are a having a self organizing team - I create the feature and inform the team (20 people) - we need to deliver this feature, it has been divided into Requirements and ToDos. Now please go into the todos and assign yourselves to the ones You will do. Because on the list of the todos i cannot clearly see at least an icon or some other indication that this ToDo is already assigned to someone i need to go through all of them to identify those which are unassigned and then assign myself to the ones i will deliver. And each person opening the feature after me will have to do the same thing. If we would have some sorts of an indication and better yet an icon (avatar, initials something) indicating that a specific ToDo, Requirements and so one is already assigned to a specific person it would make everyones' lives much easier because they would only to review the unassigned objects instead of all of them.
Thank you for your idea. We do not have plans to update the to-do list within a feature at this time, but we will continue to monitor customer feedback here. In the meantime, one suggestion to improve the flow you mentioned above would be to use a report, such as a pivot table showing to-dos by feature. This would allow you to include the specific details you need. You could then click each to-do to open the drawer and assign as needed.
