Dragging items on Custom Roadmap

We use the custom roadmap as our main overview. It will be really great if we have the option for dragging the features on this roadmap view as we can do on the starter roadmap.

We use custom roadmaps very frequently within our company. The ability to be able to drag items in the roadmap to do two things would make this a much better tool for us. The first one be to move items in the timeline. The second one would be to allow for easy reorder/sort of the epics and initiatives that help build that roadmap.

We are also using custom roadmaps for various use cases. It is quite useful for structuring a custom roadmap by tags, milestones, teams and many more fields. But currently we can only see a custom roadmap in read-only but it is not possible to act and modify dates of the items by dragging. If for example I have created a custom roadmap that displays my features by team and I would like to align the features of a specific team according to some overarching milestones, I would like to just move the feature on the chart, exactly as it is possible on the Gantt Chart view.

The gantt chart view on the other hand is very much tied to the given hierarchy that is imposed by Aha!, so that I don't have a drilldown by team, or milestone, or whatever. But only here I can move the features on the time axis.

Thank you for your feedback. I would love to understand more about your use case for the strategic roadmap. Can you share how you are hoping to visualize epics in that view? Thanks!

It's been 4 years and this feature still isn't there... I think the comments below speak for themselves, but combined with the fact that we can't filter strategic roadmaps based on epic fields, nor display epics without initiatives, this deficiency might just be an Aha! killer.

Being about to drag an epic to adjust the start/end date on the custom roadmap is essential for PMs to plan without being too manually intensive. Aha! should considering updating this feature since it is available on the starter roadmap; however the starter roadmap is limited on the data, since you can't group by teams or any other custom fields.

Not being able to drag is reason enough to stop using this tool

Agreed with all the comments. If one feature is delayed, we have to go in and manually edit the dates on every subsequent feature. Ideally we could just drag and drop items to bump them out. It's tedious enough for us that we are considering other road mapping tools.

Manually updating via individual features on a custom roadmap is very tedious. Agree with the feedback that this would be a valuable functionality to add.

We've built a custom roadmap to follow up on our features for the next release. This looks nice but updating the end date of a feature is quite cumbersome. I have to click the feature to open the details and edit the end date there manually. I would like to be able to drag to move or extend the feature on the roadmap.
I am able to drag in the starter roadmap but that roadmap does not allow me to group by team.

The best thing I could think of now is to open the features that I want to edit in the starter roadmap, use dragging there and then refresh my browser tab were I opened the custom roadmap. This feels wrong.

Would be great to be able to adjust the custom roadmap more easy by dragging.

This is something which would be really helpful for PMs to quickly change dates

We use the custom roadmap option of Aha. It would save PMs a lot of time to adjust the duration of the initiatives instead of adjusting the actual start and end duration date fields.

We use custom reports to create a roadmap by team. It would be great to have ability to make adjustments to epics and features in the timeline.
