Upgrade the Portal profile page

The profile page needs a large overhaul.  Right now it is not a functional space. 

 

I would like to see it become a hub for the user to go, see what actions they have taken and easily review their interactions within the community.  It should include the ability to add a picture directly to the profile (not through gravatar). 

 

Things to add:

  •  Bio
  • Social Links
  • Region
  • My Ideas & Subscriptions (so that other people can see what you have voted for)
  • Messages (ability to message people directly within the platform)
  • Attach files

    We have a private ideas portal for internal users only. A profile photo will be useful when seeing who voted on an idea without having to hover your mouse over the avatar to see a name. However, we do not want to require them to use this profile photo on every public place they post a message. Personally I find it invasive to have to use Gravatar. It also seems to require a Wordpress account. Thank you!

Allow simple profile photo upload for ideas portal users

Gravatar requires a WordPress account to use. Our customers do not want to sign up for an unneeded WordPress account to have a profile photo in our Ideas portal. This is preventing them from bothering to upload photos, which is really disappointin...
