In multi-line text fields, when an asterisk is the first character on a line, start a bulleted list

As an Aha user, I frequently use bulleted lists to convey information about features, requirements, personas, etc - all over the place really.

Since I use bulleted lists so often, I frequently type an asterisk on a line and hit space, expecting it to convert to a bulleted list like many other web apps do, but this is not the case. Instead, I have to delete the asterisk, then manually hit the bulleted list button. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but it happens several times a day and usually causes a break in my train of thought, since now I'm trying to figure out how to use Aha, rather than focusing on writing killer features and requirements for my team.

What I would like instead is that if I type an asterisk as the first character on a new line, a bulleted list is automatically started.

You should really consider implementing markdown as the standard text editor.

Please also implement the same technology when I start typing 1 as the first character on the line.
