Allow @mentions in Features

It would be great to allow @mentions in features. I could see this being useful in:

  • comments
  • feature description
  • requirements description

For me this is a priority because otherwise it's hard to call attention to a feature to someone unless you make them a watcher. But, they may not be be a watcher, they may need to just address one comment. It's pretty important to us, we got spoiled with this using Pivotal Tracker and Trello.

Does the recently launched new text editor mean this is coming soon?

Yes, very soon. We needed the new editor released to be able to support it. An engineer is working on adding @mention support now.

We do not allow @mentions in public idea comments and idea portals because it would disclose the names of the user in the Aha! account to the idea portal users. For many customers this is not acceptable from a security and privacy perspective. You can @mention in the idea description or private idea comments within Aha!.
