The Start On and Due On dates of a master feature should encapsulate the Start On and Due On dates of all corresponding features. If a features Start On and/or Due On dates are outside of the master features dates, the master features dates should be adjusted automatically (with or without a user warning). It's nonsensical for a features to have dates outside those belonging to the master. I would even go so far as to suggest that removing or reducing the greatest Due On date of a feature should result in the constriction of the dates of the master feature.
