Show Feature Start and End dates by default

Right now feature start and due dates are shown on the feature details screen if one of two conditions are true:

1.  Capacity planning is enabled.

2.  The feature has been added to the release roadmap or the starter roadmap.

This idea is to suggest making feature start and due dates always visible regardless of the criteria above.

    Thanks for the idea!

Preview the improved drawer and details pages coming soon on September 30th.

With this change, a product workspace feature's start and due dates are now visible by default in the feature's new overview tab.

Planning and dates are synonymous. Dates should automatically be visible on the edit screen. I am currently previewing the Preview the improved drawer and details pages. The dates appear only if they have date in them otherwise you have to click Show more. I have been adding a large number of features Epics etc. This double click scenario is a total waste of time.

My angle on this a little different.  I would like to be able to suppress capacity planning/utilization from the features board even when capacity planning is turned on.

Indeed. As of now, the start and end dates, if visible, disappear if the dates are removed from the fields. In addition, if you create the feature from the roadmaps, the template that you can define for the description field will not show.

    Start/End Date Field bug

There is currently a bug that causes the start and end dates of a Feature to disappear if it is not entered during the time of the creation of the Feature. The workaround is to enable Capacity Planning to get the fields to reappear. Rather than us...
