Convert pasted screenshots into attachments

Currently, I have to save screenshots on disk and add them as an attachment individually.

It would be great if the system could detect when I am pasting an image into text, add it as an attachment and insert a reference to the attachment.

For Aha! users, there is the ability to "insert image", but this isn't available to Ideas Portal users. I like the auto-detect even better. And would like the image to display as it was inserted (versus as an attachment that must be linked). Or give the option to display images as links to control the vertical space.

+1 for John's suggestion - Jira's solution works perfectly fine

    Yes, much needed!

We are evaluating this tool and It's pretty much a show stopper not having the ability to embed an image.  Our clients are used to using screen capturing tools and then pasting the images in an Outlook email message.  We would like to move away from using Outlook email to submit ideas.

It would be especially useful if the pasted screenshot remained displayed as an image in the text area. We've found that users often have specific comments about an image that make more sense when they can see and reference the image, especially when they have multiple images to include.

A solution like JIRA has would be great, just paste the screenshot in the requirement for instance and it is automatically converted to an attachment. The hassle of saving it and attaching it is not very 'now'...
