This month we integrated our Idea Portal with our internal platform via SSO. The portal user is just a basic user with no Aha access. It would be awesome if through the Idea Portal, the user could subscribe to new ideas via product. Right now it's hard for them to stay up to date on new ideas without constantly visiting the portal on a weekly basis.
Drive more engagement in your ideas portal
You can now send customers a weekly summary of activity in your ideas portal and encourage them to share more feedback. Portal users can go to their profile to customize which products or categories are highlighted in the email. Enable this new email in your portal's email settings. Read more.
For a data point, my product migrated to Aha! a few weeks ago -- there have been 40 new Ideas created since then, and only 15 of them have more than one vote. Prior to that migration, the most recent 40 enhancement requests had a minimum of 6 votes, with most of them being 10 or more. The number of comments is also lacking since the migration to Ideas. I am concerned that the lack of notifications about new Ideas being created is an inhibitor to our busiest and most influential customers noticing new Ideas and taking time to look and vote/comment on them.
Customers want to be auto-subscribed for e-mails and RSS feeds so they can be notfied about new Ideas for particular Products, and even Categories with Products, as those Ideas are created -- they don't want to have to go to check the Portal to find out if something new has come in.
I'd love to configure rules for ideas such that "if custom_field = ABC then add user DEF as watcher"
This would be great if if it could be configured as daily or weekly digest showing new and trending ideas to portal only users
I think this one is aleady implemented, isn't it?
