The status on this idea was out of date. This is now possible by adding color to custom fields. This blog post from the original launch provides more details. Thanks!
This is probably the feature i get asked about the most when trying to get Aha! adopted by our business leaders. The head honchos don't want to dig through the more complex roadmaps and portfolios, they want a simple red-yellow-green-etc chart. The help article listed below looks intriguing and I'll check it out, but an "ooh pretty!" flashy dashboard would go a long way towards adoption by C-level people.
Thanks, I see now that I missed one key part of what you are describing which is the automatic updating of the initiative stoplight based on the features it contains.
Stoplight ratings allow you to see if the feature is trending on target for the release or not. The initiatives can span across multiple releases and not truly show what is trending or causing an issue. Instead of a custom field it would be ideal if the initiative status can update via feature stoplight rating.
Can you expand on how the Stoplight rating differs from the existing status field? Note that you can customize the statuses in Aha! already (http://support.aha.io/hc/en-us/articles/202148073-Add-custom-status-workflow-and-feature-types), including setting custom colors. So you could use shades of green, amber or red for your statuses to incorporate the Stoplight concept into that existing field.
It would be great if the Stoplight Rating can automatically update the Initiative status through mapping/customizations to a corresponding Stoplight status.
