we've currently opened up Ideas to our entire global salesforce and the reception has been wonderful. lots of ideas submitted, commented and voted on!
as the ideas come in, we have a set of PM's who are keeping up to date and triaging things, however, the way they know what to look at is by filtering down to specific categories.
it would be awesome if there were a way to create rules so that ideas in category x, y, z could be routed to one PM (user). this way we could create rules to make sure there's an owner on the line for responding back and triaging in a timely manner.
without this feature, I'm having to manually go in and assign ideas to different PM's by hand.

Ditto Laura and Steven--we have a key stakeholder for a major product who needs to avoid this manual triage to get ideas routed automatically.
There has been no update on this for a year--anything new?
This def needs to be automated. we have thousands of ideas come in and hundreds of managers and shouldn't manually have to assign owners.
