set a specific release date that doesn't automatically move

I want to ship a release every Friday.  I'm creating a new Release each week and setting the release date - all fine.  However I'd like to "set in stone" the release date and not have it automatically move if someone adds a Feature that has a due date > release date.  I'd like their feature due date to not be able to be > release date.

    This is the current behavior for release dates. When adding features which have due dates later then the release date, the release date will stay constant.
