As a user, I want to be able to sort items in a timeline report so that I can prioritize rows appropriately.

Today we have delivered powerful new sorting capabilities for pivot tables, charts, and custom roadmaps. You can now build the perfect report and organize the view exactly how you need it. Check out the blog post for more details.

I agree, where I have two dates that collide - and it can happen with Milestone date, I usually end up pulling the other date in by a day even if it's not true. Probably easier than it sounds to drag and drop without having unintended consequences but very useful nonetheless

      Comment copied from idea APP-I-1758:

I imagine this might work by enabling the row header to be dragged up/down, much like column headers can be dragged sideways in the table list views. At least that's how I'd love to be able to re-sort my Pivot and Timeline reports. I expect it might also be useful to provide a section to choose "sort by" criteria somewhere in the configuration area.

Been using the system for 15 minutes and almost immediately had this problem. Definitely a problem that needs fixing.

This is key functionality to being able to tell a story from top to bottom.

Need this too to make this report truly useful.

I really need this. Alphabetical sorting of rows is not useful when you want to show something like a Gantt chart ordered top to bottom in chronological order of starting date.
