Thank you Chris. That means our customer have to access our page using http and not https, right? Sounds awkward in a secure world where encrypted communication is standard, isn't it? :-)
Torsten you should not be seeing a certificate error when accessing a portal. If you are using a customer CNAME you should use HTTP for the top level URL (HTTPS is used for the access to Aha!).
If you are still seeing an error please email support@aha.io and they can help you get it configured.
We can also easily provide a certificate. Plenty of other companies do allow custom urls with your own cert.
There is a security issue which you partly address using an SSL iFrame.
However there is an issue of trust. Clients expect the Secure shield or the green bar to know the traffic is encrypted. Your method does not provide this.

No solution available, yet? It's awkward for our customers to experience that there is a certificate issue with our idea portal.

Can you please reconsider.
We can provide you with a Certificate easily and I think thats a very good way to do it.
It would be cool when you support SSL upload or as an alternative official reverse proxy support.
