Replace Ellipsis with a more intuitive UI element
One of the most common questions I get from users in my organization is "How do I export this list to excel". I always send a screen shot of the ... icon expanded to show the export capabilities.
It's clear after training dozens of people on AHA that the ellipsis is not an intuitive action cue. It's easy to overlook, unclear and generally not instructive as to what might be hidden behind it.
I'd suggest a more specific image to help guide users.
Agree with this - one of the hardest parts we had during the initial rollout was instructing folks on where to go to find important details. Clicking on the ellipsis did not resonate with our product managers and we still run into this issue today. A more detailed button such as "Details" or "Options" would be a welcome change.
