After you've been using Aha! for a while, the number of epics builds up. This can be come a hinderence when you are looking to add a feature to an epic and the drop down list has dozens of results.
After speaking with Aha! engineers, it was pointed out:
"we deliberately expose shipped records to allow already created records to be incorporated into existing User story maps. "
This makes sense too, but still leaves a lot of epics in my list. I could imagine several ways to improve this:
Create a preference at the workspace level to allow shipped or "will not complete" epics show up in drop down lists
Create two sections of the drop down such that the top portion of the list (above a line) show incomplete epics and the bottom portion has completed epics.
I have this exact same issue with features in the drop down lists when trying to add existing featues to User Story Maps. It is impossible to browse because all the shipped releases with their features are listed. Either put the shipped releases at the bottom of the list or give me a way to exclude them.
