Subscribe to changes in reports
I want to be notified when there is a specific change to an activity. For example, someone adds a specific custom tag that triggers a needed response from me. I can run a report on this but I want to be notified when that report changes / there is a new addition to the report results.

For your tag trigger example, Enterprise+ accounts can set automated rules based on certain triggered actions. Please see this automation article to learn more.
However, triggering based on records that appear in a report is an interesting idea! We will continue to monitor this idea for community feedback.
