Sort list reports by fields not visible

  Thank you for your idea. As noted in the idea, it is possible to sort pivot tables by fields not included in the report. One approach would be to structure your pivot table so that it is formatted similarly to the list. For example:

  • Add the name field of the primary record type as rows

  • Add all other fields as cells

  • On the report, click Customize styles and choose to show cell headers

  Given the workaround above and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.

Ability to sort list reports using fields that are not visible

A lot of times there is a need to sort list reports using fields that are not required to be displayed on the report. This is currently not possible on list reports but available on pivots. Please enable this functionality to list reports as well.
