It would be great if I could filter the results that are returned by global search and to transactionally turn filtering off. For instance, when searching for an idea, I am usually only concerned about a single workspace. I usually don't want to see features which have a status of 'Duplicate', 'Shipped' and 'Will Not Implement'.
Using the normal filters to do this usually doesn't work because I'm typically working a list when searching globally.
Thank you for the additional details! We will continue to monitor for community feedback to help prioritize this idea.
Here's what I would like, although it may be difficult do the breadth of the 'global search'.
90% of the time when I search our product backlog I want to only see features, ideas and requirements that have not been delivered. Undelivered features and ideas would be identified by their status (we have 9 statuses that identify undelivered features.) I'm also typically searching across both features and ideas which is why I use the global search.
Let me know if this is the input that you're looking for.
Hi there, thank you for your idea. You mentioned that using a list does not work for your use case. Can you share more about the use case and what you are trying to accomplish? There may be other options that could help. Thanks!
