We have 100+ sales and pre-sales people that we have just launched our ideas portal to (it's internal only). When they submit a request we require them to put the associated customer names against it. We are doing this via an editable choice field and having to give them the ability to free text a new customer in a seperate field becasue portal users are not currently able to add to an ediatble list field.
Our customer list is 300+ and with no ability to aplha sort the list makes it entirely un-user friendly. Most other applications present lists aplhabetically, or at least give you the ability to present it alphabetically.
Presenting a list which orders the entries by date of creation only is not at all helpful. We are getting huge heat on this in Product Management from the sales/pre-sales teams as they are seeing this as a step backwards from what they were previously using with Jira.
