What is the challenge? |
When switching from Roadmaps to Teamwork using the application switcher, the default page is the team's workflow page. But when switching from Teamwork back to Roadmaps, the default is the Aha homepage. This is disjointed and unexpected, especially if the user is repeatedly moving back and forth between a workspace and a team associated with that workspace. Granted, we are in the midst of trialing Teamwork, so we are probably switching between the two Aha applications more often than is normal! It is a bunch of extra clicks to get back to where one was working. |

What is the impact? |
Our global homepage (set in account settings) is a Note at the Company level with a variety of quick links to key reports and dashboards. This is many clicks away from whatever work the user was trying to do when they switched applications, and feels like a bug ("whoa, how did I get here?") especially if they are trying to manage a Workspace and it's associated Team.. While an individual can set their own homepage, we don't want to encourage them to override our 'quick links' global homepage which is important for keeping everyone on the organization on the same page with access to key company information. |
Describe your idea |
When using the application switcher to change from Teamwork to Roadmaps, direct the user back to the Features board in last workspace they were using. (Or perhaps to the workspace the Team they were viewing is associated with.) |
