Support Aha! acting as an MCP server for other AI agents line ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or any other agentic framework.
Users should be able to use Oauth to authenticate from an agent to Aha!. The MCP server should expose tools like the tools within the Aha! AI Assistant that allow searching, listing, reading and updating all records within Aha!.
Note there is already an official Aha! MCP, but it requires running your own server, and only supports simple operations on Features. This idea would replace this offering.
See this idea for MCP client support.

We just launched a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Aha! software.
You can now connect Aha! to AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor so those tools can securely access your Aha! data using natural language.
How it works
Add the Aha! remote MCP server to your AI tool and authenticate with your Aha! account. Your existing permissions still apply, so AI tools only see what you already have access to.
It's very good to see that.
We are looking to implement this idea soon for Aha! Roadmaps. While other enterprise applications are already having their own MCP server introduces and integrating with Large Language Models, Aha! still does not it for Aha! Roadmaps with even basic read capabilities to read metadata—such as Goals, Initiatives, Epics, Releases, Features, Ideas, and Documents.
although there was a recent Microsoft connector for Copilot, it limits the tool to copilot and does not support custom tables and fields which we use heavily. A competitive MCP hosted by Aha will be very helpful for enterprise users.
